Default More Arenas....please

I think one basic way to at least give the illusion of more PvP content, would be to give an ample amount of arenas for PvP players to fight in...RA is a bit lacking, TA has 1 more arena than RA and a large quantity of people don't like Hero Battles even though thy have their own maps.

Even with a new final chapter coming, i don't anticipate anything for PvP in this any way because it has not really been shown in the past chapters either.

Just some more variety...thats all :/

Maybe, YOU should suggest WHAT FORM of Arenas they should construct. I mean, even I can't think of a good arena to put in the battle isles. Also, don't forget, Alliance battles is also a form of "arena", as well as the competitive missions. Zaishen is fun for faction farm as well.

Its not good to spread the PvP community too far out. In my opinion, there are almost too many types of PvP (TA, RA, AB, GvG, HA, Hero Battles, FA, JQ) that split the community.

Furthermore, some substance to your suggestion would be appricated. If you can think of something new and fun I'd consider it.

you guys miss the point completely...i dont mean adding new types of PvP, i mean adding more content to the already existing ones...

Take RA for example, if you are an Avid PvP player and play plenty of RA, HA, and TA then you would know what i mean. You just see the same thing over and over and over again.

Adding new "arenas" i guess should not have been the best working, i mean adding more maps, for the already existing arenas (although in a sense the arenas are the maps)

There are so many places in GW PvE, but you only see a tiny amount of the "enviroments" that GW has in the form of PvP areas.

Since the actual arenas themselves were removed from the PvE towns (such as Fort Koga and areas like Yaks Bend and Amnoon Oasis) then i don't see why they could not add anymore arenas since it is no longer linked into PvE in any way.

You mean maps. Geez, yeah you could have been clearly in your OP.

Well, they have added quite a few RA maps. There are six new RA maps from the original seven http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Random_Arena. They have doubled the amount of maps.

HA can't get new maps as easily since you have to play them in order (you get sick of seeing the Underworld map, but I mean, if the maps were played in the exact opposite order, you'd be getting sick of the HoH and think the Underworld was an elite map.

Hero Battles do need more maps, that's one of the main complaint of them. They aren't that popular to begin with though, so I don't think new maps will save them.

I'm happy with the number of GvG maps. As it stands, they each have their own unique strategies. But again, there are new maps there too.

I think a.net is adding enough maps. You get bored of them yeah, but some people were bored when there were six maps. Some people get bored with 12 maps. Those same people would get bored with 28 maps.

i agree with this guy, have you ever gone for the gladiator rank? its like the same maps over and over again. not to mention before your level 20 you get this shiver peak arena all the time. gvg is far more elaborate than pvp they really should add more maps to that part of the game.

what about the old proph PvP arenas? i started after they got rid of the amnoon arena and such they kept the shiverpeaks arena+ascalon arenas,so why not being the others back to good old guild wars? and maybe release some for factions and nightfall?^^
(btw i dont play much PvP in battle isles anymore so if im wrong about that you know why)

You are wrong Tyla (sort of). The maps you are talking about are already part of the Battle Isles circuit.

And yes populationcontrol, I've played a lot of PvP. What I'm saying is simply this, MANY people were happy when this game only had 7 PvP RA maps. Some did complain, but you see, the same people who complained then, complain now. It wouldn't matter if there were 30 maps, they'd still get repeatitive.

well lets see to get first glad rank u need like to get 25 or 50 10 consecutive streaks, thats like 250 to 500 battles that take place within what 10 maps? not to mention all the battles you add on to those were you were unsuccesful at getting the streak, can get boring.
